Greetings Tabarak! When did you post this Glenfiddich 15 DE video? I have to think that your bottle is from the same batch as my first bottle of it because of the micro-finish. I recently bought a second bottle of 15 DE 5 years later but haven’t opened it yet. I am sure that i will know quickly when I do whether it is from the same non-existent-finish batch or a later one.
I would expect your bottle to be a lot better a month after opened than it was on Day One. What did you find later?
I quickly became a huge fan of that bottle of 15 DE despite the non-existent finish. That is quite amazing that Glenfiddich goes so far as to lie about a long finish on your bottle’s tube. They must know the shortcoming of that batch. In any case it is a huge improvement to have the whisky available at 51% ABV. Cheers, friend!
